If you are into psychiatric nursing and attending a South Florida institution then the Charlotte Liddell Scholarship Fund would be for you. Students living in Dade County can apply for the Connie Dorry Memorial Fund from FNA when currently in an MSN NP program. Lake County residents are eligible for the District 14 Mary Klosterman Memorial Scholarship Fund with no restrictions as to specialty. Also available to those in Manatee County is the District 20 Evelyn Baxter Memorial Fund. Over half of the funds of the latter from FNA goes towards scholarships in different nursing programs and 40% will go to the nursing scholarship grants for research in a graduate program. Several other grants are offered from this organization that run the gamut of grants for students in BSN programs and RN programs with various specialties for undergraduates and graduate students alike.The Kansas Nurses Foundation Scholarship Awards are comprised of monies received from various donors so that they may assist educating nurses and to also put some of the funds towards scientific activities. There are around fifteen research grants awarded in hundreds to thousands of dollars.The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Foundation Grant administers more nursing scholarship grants. These grants are for nurses that wish to serve children and their families. The research grants are awarded in $2500 amounts while there is also a grant for $1000 for students currently undergoing pediatric nurse practitioner graduate coursework.Are you looking for funds for your clinical nursing research? Try taking a gander into the Pauline Thompson Clinical Nursing Research Award from the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania. You need to be a graduate student that is performing a clinical research project and enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in an institution that is NLNAC or CCNE accredited. Those applying for this grant need to be members of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association for six months or more and must be sponsored by someone who can attest to the abilities of the student.Several other nursing scholarship grants are open to undergraduate and graduate students. Some require memberships in certain organizations, enrollment in certain universities or colleges, or located in certain areas of the country. Award amounts will vary with each grant and each grant will have criteria that need to be followed to obtain it.
